I bought this bass less than two months ago and immediately added an Audere 4-band preamp. Despite the grief that the EMG Hz's take by some TBers, I think they sound great in this bass, particularly with the control of the Audere preamp. Combine that with an amazing neck (cross between a Jazz neck and an Ibanez neck IMO), and you've got a fantastic bass.
So...why am I selling it? Long story short: the Stingray HH bass has been my dream bass fir quite awhile now, and I was able to snag a used one in mint condition in the exact color I like this week. With it now securely in my possession, I know it will get most of my playing time. Thus, I am thinning out the rest of my collection, which includes the hardly played mint condition Schecter here and a Squier VM Jazz (also modded with an Audere preamp, Dimarzio pups, and a Gotoh bridge - check out the other listing if interested).
Price:
The bass cost $550 new and the Audere cost $160. I am willing to sell it for $500 shipped.
