FS/FT SEXIEST IBANEZ ON TALKBASS! YOU DECIDE.

Sign in to disble this ad
This is without a doubt, one of the best Ibanez basses made. This is an Ibanez SR655PB. There were 150 of these imported into the U.S.A. "Blue Moon" is the color. Poplar Burl top. Active Bartolini Electronics. Flawless bass, 10 out of 10. Better than new. Plastic still on the pickguard. pics hardly do it justice. I took pictures on two different backgrounds, I am no photographer, but I did my best, I did not do it justice. You decide.

Given the rarity of this bass, let's say $750 O.B.O. Trade for? Cash is king. Don't be afraid to make offers, I have no problem with trading down if you add cash. Either way, let's make her yours!

Thanks,
zack

P.S. I have used the term "Sexiest" because Otto has a copyright on "most beautiful" which I can hardly argue with.

If I didn't find another one of these and just buy it, I wouldn't sell this one! One of my favorite Ibanez basses ever! If not the favorite!

Hey thanks J. Crawford!

That is an amazing bass. What's the neck like on it?

Very nice and thin. It feels like every other 500 series five string neck. this one is very smooth, and very, very fast. Unfinished on the back, makes it even better for gigging under lights. make no mistake, this is my favorite Ibanez, and I wouldn't sell her if I didn't just find a deal on another one. These are nearly IMPOSSIBLE to find. like I said, 150 imported to the US.

my bathroom scale (not the most accurate thing in the world I am sure) says between 7 and 8 pounds. it read just over 7.6, so that is a good estimate I suppose.

5 strings, thin, fast neck, light weight, it's like the perfect bass for what I've been looking for! I just wish I had the cash

What's the scale length, and what are the neck and fingerboard woods?
