FS/FT - Short Scale - Essex, Ashbory, Mustang

Sign in to disble this ad
Since I had some medical issues, I went through the long process of selling my gear and buying short scale versions.... Well... I'm getting better, and my shoulder and back can handle full size again, so here you go...

1st the latest to the arsenal and an excellent bass...

Short scale fretless SX P Old headstock. The lake placid blue finish is great. The nuclear orange tint was citrus-stripped off and really has a nice look about it. Had a complete setup and is strung with medium gauge Chromes, the original pots were replaced with 500K's. Shipped in an SX SS gig bag. It really sings.

$125 shipped on this one. SOLD
[PIC Removed]

Next is my Ashbory
What can I say, Silicon Rubber goodness, small instrument with the big sound. Will include an extra set of strings as well as a spare G string. The strap move mod has been done for better balance and will include a planet waves acoustic quick release
Strap moved for balance : Ashbory Bass

$250 shipped SOLD

Finally my Fender CIJ Mustang.
2009 Vintage White CIJ Mustang. What more can be said, right at 7lbs and great tone.

$600 shipped SOLD

FS Only

Is the SX 32 or 30 inch scale?

Wow. That P looks like a regular 34" from the picture. I'd have never thunk it was a short scale.

The P plays big too, but the Ashbory has the big sound.

How much for a local sale? I'm not even 100% sure I'm ready to buy another bass, but the short scale side is calling.

Hah, my music career's been as up, down & around as Harmony Central. 2 strikes on getting my Samurai Eq pedal built--trying to market a small cab idea here....

Overall, bass-playing (rather than vox & guitar) for my band (see sig) and TalkBass have been pretty stable. My nonprofit record co. is doing really well too (knock on wood): HGR (Heavy Guitar Rock) RECORDS | Facebook.
