This is the MS series with some really nice upgrades. It is maple neck, with morado board, 3 piece wings (tiger maple with mahogany core), black hardware, 18 v smith preamp with adjust frequencies via DIP switches,series/parallel switches, and accent stringers. Brand new Smith strings and it has a SKB hardcase. THis bass is 9/10 and was just finished in Sept 09. Street price was:
$4050 (base price)
$100 (black hardware)
$200 (series/parallel switches)
$300 +(3 piece wings)
$100 (top dots)
$4750+ (total)
I love this bass, but I really am in need of a nice 5 string jazz. That said I will consider trades for five string Sadowsky, Allevas, or something else you can run by me. Might also consider partial trades for Genz Benz shuttle 9 and Bergantino AE112s cabs.
Trade value of this bass is around $3k, will sell outright for $2900 shipped in the lower 48.
