FS/FT SPECTOR EURO 4 900$

PAYMENT RECEIVED CLOSE THREAD

i just recently purchased this from K-Punk and it is in good condition. Im in love with this bass but im currently without a head due to the fact that i blew my uncles up and have to sell mine to pay him off and need one. It has a few bumps and dings here and there but nothing you can see unless your really close up, and theres one near the input jack thats through to the wood. This is a 2003 model and unlike the newer euro lx's its all maple instead of just the side wings, just put a brand new set of DR sunbeams on it this week. comes with skb flight case and a nylon strap and also has the strap lock posts but not the actual locking mechanisms to the strap. for outright sale i would to get what i paid for it which is 900 shipped, pay pal or money order is fine. (have other pictures as well)

for trade im ideally looking for an amp head, maybe a bass not for sure.

AMPS

iys a little black box in the control cavity...the tone pump can be wiredfor 9v or 18 volt ...it has what they call a "voltage doubler circuit"...its the same as having 2 batt.
most of the new euro's come with this preamp ...if you changed it to a bart system or a aguilar obp1,2,3 you would prolly like the tone better ...

it looks like this

I believe all you have to do, is wire two batteries in series, and it's 18v..... bada-bing.

Not sure what schematics you speak of.

Had direct contact with PJ Rubal about this.
Some early Tone Pumps had the voltage doubler (18volts from a single 9volt battery). Current ones have not had it for a while (they decided it didn't need it).

At any rate, he said neither should be wired to 18volts as it could damage the pre. It is not like an EMG pre.

Mine looks like that to, except it's the special shaped Aguilar OBP-1 (Which can be run at 18 volts).

Take a closer look. Mine has the Aguilar logo on one side.
