SOLD

I'm thinking of parting with my Spector. I'm told by the folks at Spector this Euro is of 2000/2001 vintage and is a beautiful dark cherry trans color. Very nice flaming on this one and neck inlays. Very nice condition with no significant damage. Only some surface swirling from cleaning and general use to be expected of an instrument of this age and a minor scratch or two. There is some fading on the bridge hardware. I'll get pictures up soon.

Has the original electronics which sound excellent. Extremely punchy with a ton of tonal variety. Neck is excellent with low action. Hot slap tone.

I can make a nice Protech soft sided case in virtually like new condition available too.

I love the look and sound of this instrument but not the 35 inch scale unfortunately. So that's why I'm considering parting with it. Very nice Spector piece.

Selling price $1175. SOLD

Open to trade offers for a nice 5 string but must be 34 inch scale.

Thank you

Hi

I have an amirican standard pbass 5. It is 2009 or 10. I will find out year but it is built to current pbass specs and hardware. It's a great sounding bass but I want something closer in feel to my other bass (Tobias). If you are interested in trade let me know..

Thanks
Gary

Pics attached. I tried to capture the fading on the bridge as a couple small fine surface scratches. There are a couple small dimples on the back that photos won't capture. They are very small and only in the surface. I can't capture the surface swirling in photos. Obviously not seen unless up close looking for it. You can tell the instrument has plenty of shine with no serious flaws.

pb9717,

I see you have a Growler 5 based on your signature. I've always wanted one of those.

Thanks for the PM's and trade offers. Not looking for a Jazz bass at the moment since I have a Fender Jazz in my collection already. Hit me up with anything else though. Thanks.

stjohn1299,

Possibly. Want to PM me some details and pics?

73jbass,

No I don't want to part with my pedulla. It's 34" and I love it. I wouldn't be parting with the Spector either if it was 34".

Thanks. Looking forward to the pics.

As for trades, I would be interested in Stingray or Sterling 5HH or 5HS preferably. Always had a sweet spot for an older model (dual switch) Tobias Growler 5. I'd be interested in Human Base too. Or really, just present your offer but only 34" please.

This may be the best finish I ever seen on a Euro Spector. WOW.
Could easily pass for a USA model with that Black Cherry Flamed Maple
