FS/FT SPECTOR EURO 5 - Purple!!

Sign in to disble this ad
Ok let me start by saying that this is the last of my Spector 5 strings...at one time I owned 4 of them, and I held on to this one because of the way it looked, the way it played, and the way it sounded. I assume it is a Euro 5 because its 35" scale, has the Tone Pump pre, and the inlays on the neck, but its possible that it might be an NS5CRFM.
Anyways, this bass is far from perfect, and has a few battle scars...2 dings on the upper front side of the body near the horn, a gouge taken out of the top of the fretboard at the 8th fret, and lastly, a botched tuner replacement on the headstock/G tuner. Nevertheless, all of this is hardly noticeable from a few feet away, and its a killer Spector 5.
I must confess that I have grown weary of the weight of these Euro 5's, the 35" scale, and the chunky necks, which is why I am selling/trading.
I am looking to trade for 4 string Spectors - a nice NS-2A (not red, I already have a red and a blue one), ReBop 4, Euro 4, or maybe even a Legend 4 or 5 if its the right model....+ or - money we can work out.
I am open to trades for other brands of basses, so hit me up!
I am setting the sale price at $700 shipped in USA, with a case, if someone is interested in buying it.
Here are pics of the bass, including highlighted areas of the dings and such....none of which were my fault, by the way...I received this bass in a trade, and it came to me with all its flaws, none of which ever bothered me.
Please feel free to ask any questions!

Thanks for looking! See they are not too bad at all...and it IS a PURPLE SPECTOR

Its ok...thats why its priced at $700 and not $950...and to be honest, in person you dont even notice it unless your 6 inches from the headstock.
