FS/FT: Spector Euro (non-LX) 5

Sign in to disble this ad
FS/FT: Killer Spector Euro 5. Solid flame-maple body (not alder like the current LX series), neck-thru, Tonepump pre... this bass sounds fantastic. Neck is smooth and very fast, with a low setup and newer strings.

A few surface flaws that fall into the normal wear category, but since it's a natural finish they are invisible unless viewed in certain light, and the fretboard has a small indentation around the 8th fret (pictured below), but as the finish is perfectly smooth and balanced around it I believe it to be a trait of the fretboard wood itself and not due to any kind of damage.

Asking $1100 shipped w/ an SKB hardcase.. For trades, I'd consider a Streamer Stage 2, Spector US neck-thru, Spector Euro 4-stringer, Aguilar amps, Genz Benz Uber or XB3 cabs... basically, if it isn't a Fender or Ibanez shoot me a PM and we'll chat.

Now for the shots!

Thanks for looking!

Do you happen to know the string spacing at the bridge and the nut width? Is it 34 or 35"scale?

Thanks! Beautiful bass!

Thank you sir - plays as good as she looks, maybe better It is a comfortable 35" scale, but I dont' know the spacing off the top of my head. I'm pretty sure it's 16.7 mm at the bridge, but don't know about the nut - I'll measure once I get home from work.

No worries - if it's the standard "Skinny Spector Spacing" then I am out. For me it would have to be about 19mm. If it's 19mm, then we may have to talk! Thanks!
