GONE!!!
Time to fuel the GAS. I bought this a few months ago thinking it was the bass of all basses for me. I've come to realized the growly, modern-ish tone of warwicks and spectors is not for me. I'm looking to buying another Aria Pro II SB or maybe a Ric if those snoody Ric guys feel like selling it for a decent (appropriate) price.

Just kidding.
This bass is an 02 model, the new ones are called Euro LX and are made of a maple back, walnut strip, and alder top. The Euro's (like mine) are made of solid figured maple, flame maple in my case. The LX's have the very hated (for whatever reason) tonepump preamp while mine has the very clean aguilar OBP-1 preamp. Mine has a 3 piece neck thru with rosewood board. Real Pearl crown inlays (MOP with 2 abalone strips at the 12th), EMG PJ pups, vol/vol/bass/treble controls, abalone HS inlay, and contoured body. Every Spector freak I've talked to says the older Euro's (like mine) are so close to USA spectors in sound and feel/quality that USA's aren't even worth it anymore. The new LX's are great in every way but I guess they sound a bit different.
This bass is in near mint condition. There are no scraches, dings, or wear marks on it. I have taken very good care of it. All frets are clean with zero wear, I just gave the board a good scrubbing last week with gorgomyte (this s#%t actually works incredibly). I've had the bass checked out and the setup is perfect. Neck is not bowed or twisted even slightly. No dings or marks in the fretboard, gold plating is still new looking, really looks perfect.
For the sound, I'm assuming you know what they sound like if you're thinking of buying this, these are not low end basses and do not have a low end sound. These have a very unique sound that no other bass can imitate. Look up a few videos if you don't know the tone. I can get that RHCP "Higher Ground" slap sound, MetallicA's black album bass tone, Pantera's bass tone, Ozzy's "No More Tears" bass tone (all these were spector NS2's, USA version), and just a great growl tone with my fingers. I can honestly say that this bass is the best quality of ANY instrument I've ever played. USA Jacksons feel amazing, Aria's feel very solid, but Spector's literally feel like a solid piece of metal. I feel like nothing could dent it or break it. I have the case for it as well. For whatever reason these basses didn't come with a case. $2000 and a case is an upcharge.
I'm looking for $1100 OBO, only trades I'm interested are an Aria Pro II SB1000, Elite, SB-R, Black N Gold, or a Rickenbacker 4001, 4003.
The black thing between the pickups is a piece of gaffers tape. I put it there to keep my fingers from wearing through the finish when I play (I play very aggressively). It's gaffers tape so it won't leave residue and won't hurt the finish in any way like duct tape would.

In some of the photos the color comes off as purple, it is in fact a trans blue to black burst. For whatever reason the flash of a camera makes it look purple. It looks blue no matter what lighting I put it under so it must just be a camera thing.
