FS/FT Spector Legend 6: With Major Upgrades! Bubinga Finish, Spector Case

Sign in to disble this ad
Hello all,

I got this bass last week from PhatBasstard, and it's everything he said it would be and more. Unfortunately, I find myself writing more lead lines on it than anything else and using my Rebop for composing bass lines because the Rebop has the tone I've been lusting after during all my years as a bassist. Long story short, my bass needs are fulfilled and I find myself needing a *gasp* treble guitar.

I'd like what I paid for it, $550 shipped, which is a GREAT price. If I NEEDED it, I would totally keep it. The neck profile is the most comfortable six-string neck I've ever played, and it has Schaller strap locks on it, which are on my straps.

For trades, I'd like 6 string guitars + cash. I'd really like to trade down... I don't need a fancy electric right now. I do not want a Fender. I don't like them. I would like a cheaper hollowbody guitar, like an Ibanez Artcore or a lower end Gretsch or Epiphone.

Here's the link to the old post with pics:

FS/Now possible Trades!: Spector Legend 6 w/MAJOR Upgrades.

The upgrades are as follows:

Quote:
Has the Spector style inlay stickers from Creative Cuts.
Have been on a year and wear like iron, but will leave no residue if removed (which I can do for you).

Has a pro setup (including nut filing) and plays as well or better than many Euros.

2 Major Upgrades:
Original "Tone Pump Jr." pre replaced with an Aquilar OBP-1.
Original passive SSD pickups replaced with active EMG-TW's.
Rather than push/pull pots (for the coil switching) I used the standard 25ohm pots and wired in two mini toggles instead.
These upgrades would be about $400 if self installed.
More if you paid a tech.

Bass is in excellent condition with only a couple minor beauty marks (and extra strap button hole on the bottom).
Low action with nary a buzz (unless you play like a gorilla ).

The Zebop is NOT for sale!

Thanks for looking!

And all PM's replied. The price is pretty firm, and I didn't think I needed to explain this, but "shipped" means "includes shipping."
