FS / FT Spector NS-2A, Korean HazLab Pre, EMG's and other upgrades!

Hello again!

Here we have another Spector NS-2A. This one is in better condition and includes some very sweet upgrades! I'm asking 500 shipped. I'm blowing the trade bait wide open! Let me know what you have, and the worst I can say is no thank you. I'm not interested in any stingray type instruments (had one for 15 years and am looking for something else), nor anything with EMG's in them (not my personal taste). Other than that, let me know what you have. \m/

The pickups have been upgraded to EMG's (with correctly matching pots). The knobs were also replaced with the newer style Spector knobs. Overall, I would say that the condition of the bass is an 8.5 out of 10 for an instrument of its age. I bought this not too long ago from thisSNsucks, so he can attest to the condition of this one.

There is some buckle rash, and a small cluster of scratches / dings near the strap peg. The truss rod is functioning and the setup is in good shape. The 21st fret is a bit high, so if you have a heavier touch it's going to buzz in the upper register near the 21st fret. A leveling would probably take care of that fret no problem. I've tried to capture all of the notable visual marks in the pictures.

I am selling this one is because I am attached to a beat up old Aria Pro SB Integra that is in the same ballpark tonally. This is truly the better bass (lighter, balances better, is cleaner cosmetically, etc), but I just can't let go of the Integra. I figure I will pass this on to someone who will play it and appreciate it. Thanks for looking!

A couple of pictures below, and also a link to the full library with more pictures.

Terrific bass.

Has it been slapped much (upper fret wear, etc.)?

I can't comment on whether or not the bass has been slapped much, as I haven't owned it for very long. I purchased the bass about 2 months ago, and have only used it for a couple of hours at home since then. The only noticeable issue with the frets (to me) is the buzzing due to the 21st fret. Aside from that one fret, it plays clean.

Edit: I clarified my wording above.

Start of the work week bump! I updated the trade bait, and I got the shipping box and all packing materials collected and put together. She's ready to ship as soon as a deal is reached.
