Thumbs up FS/FT Spector Rebop 5 DLX-EX Mint

Not sure I want to sell yet, but I've been gassing for a Spector Euro 4 or Euro4LX. FOR SALE OR TRADE!

I got this a few months ago, brand new. Currently has Spector Nickel lights on it. It's zebra wood. I set it up to my liking when I got it. It plays amazingly. The B string is thick and punchy - the EMG HZs and the TonePump really put out an aggressive tone. Easily dialed back for a warmer thump. The TonePump can be adjusted, there's a trim pot on it. (accessible through the control cavity in the back). Right now I have it at about 70%. It's a strong preamp.

The bass is clean, the neck is straight - everything is factory stock except for the strings. Specs from here Stuart Spector Designs, LTD - Makers of fine electric and bass guitars: UNCOMPROMISING QUALITY | UNPARALLELED VERSATILITY | UNBELIEVABLE SOUND

I really like this bass, I haven't weighed it properly, but on the bathroom scale it's 9.2 lbs. If there's enough interest, I'll put it up for sale/trade officially. Better inquire soon before I change my mind and yank this. But, I have GAS!

Need to sell to fund another purchase. Only trades considered would be for Euro 4 or 4LX - or any of the following:

MM StringRay H

Thanks stjohn1299 and thanks LimaGuy!

Just thought I'd add some info. I adjusted the truss rod when the bass first arrived. I let it sit for a couple weeks, then adjusted it 1/2 turn more (more relief) - then slapped on the strings and I haven't tweaked the truss rod since. I live right next to the ocean, so sometimes humidity is definitely something to be concerned about. But, no worries. I tune up maybe twice per gig, and that's it (using the tuning keys only, of course).

The bass is mint!

These retail for over $1600, and list for over $2000.

This is a great deal for a minty Zebop!

Sounds interesting, but I've tried Warwick (German Corvette Standard Active 5) and didn't like the feel of the neck. Thanks though!!
