THIS BASS IS SOLD [again] PENDING PAYMENT!

I've had this bass for quite a while now, and haven't played it in a few months. Figure I'll give the sale a go again.

When I bought this bass, there was a set of Dimarzio Ultra Jazz pickups installed. I just swapped them out for close-to-stock pickups. They aren't actually from this bass, they're from a Squier Deluxe Precision V, but they are blade style, epoxy-potted, solid covered pickups.

I don't currently have pics of it with the new-old pickups installed, but this bass is in minty condition, never gigged, still has the stock strings (sadly). Pics are available upon request. No high frets that I've found yet, but the action isn't as low as I prefer (too many basses + just started school = not much time to play, much less set-up the unplayed basses). It is sunburst.

Price is $250 shipped in the CONUS. If you would like, I can reinstall the Dimarzio's for $50, making the bass $300 shipped. I prefer to ship with the neck removed, in the same box, to save on potential for damage and to save some cash.

TRADES: I'd trade for a Squier Classic Vibe 50s P-bass, a regular P-bass (uber-modded SX or Squier, MIM Fender, etc), an 8-string (octaved), a guitar combo amp (Line 6, Vox maybe), maybe some other stuff, it's hard to say. Just shoot some offers at me. I might be able to add cash to a trade, but it's gotta really catch my eye.

BUMP!

Buyer's deal fell through, so this bass is back on the block.

Too many basses + just bought a Squier CV 50's here on TB = me feeling guilty for having so many. To appease the wife, I'll also open up trades to real bone china teaware! (Just kidding, she wouldn't let me trade 'my' stuff for teapots... I don't think)

I got the 5 string version of that green Ibby I got from you that I'd trade for it. Was NOS when I bought it a couple months ago. Got about 2 hours on it right now. Japanese SR645 in Silver. Immaculate! Let me know, I'd love anothe DAJB V.

H

Heck if you still got that 5 string P I'd be interested in it too.

Thanks, but not interested in any Ibanez at the moment. Maybe you could transform them into cash, then we'd have a deal!

Dang, I'm tempted... I bought a white one here a few months ago and love it. I put some Ultra Jazz's and a Sadowsky pre in it and it just kills! It was great stock too though, I just like modding. I've been thinking of getting another to defret...

A couple questions, too... The Ultra Jazz pickups are a little mid-scooped. How are the pickups you put in compared to those? Are they hum-canceling or true single coils?

Thanks for the interest, though the bass is sold. I can answer your questions though.

The pickups I swapped out are from a Squier Deluxe Precision 5-string. They are single-coil blade-style pickups. They are single coils. I didn't play it much this way, just enough to make sure they worked, but they are a pretty typical J-bass tone. I believe them to be the same as the pickups that come stock in the DAJBV, if that helps.
