For Sale or Trade:
Squier Fretless P-Bass. This was defretted before I picked it up as a project. Whoever did it did a nice job and filled the lines properly. Since I picked it up here is a list of mods/improvements:
- Leveled and sealed the fingerboard
- Removed the Squier logo and refinished the neck
- Swapped in a MIM wiring harness with 250k pots and chrome knobs with set screws.
- Swapped out the set screws in the factory bridge with black nicely machined ones. The original set screws were falling apart.
-Adjusted the nut to the proper height for a fretless
-Recent setup and intonation set.
-Strung up with Ddarrio Chromes(flats)
-Primed and painted the original pickguard black with clear over the black paint. After 6 coats of clear I wet sanded and polished the clear to a nice smooth finish.
Over all it is in very good shape and plays nicely. There is some slop in the tuners but they hold tune just fine. Some small dings/scratches in the finish but it is very presentable. One larger scratch in the pickguard (see picture). Truss rod works great. The bass needs nothing. The neck has some cool flame going on in it.
$150 shipped CONUS. PM with any questions/offers. Would be willing to trade for a cab as well.
