This is a bass that I just got in trade and did some swapping. It is constructed of a Squier Vintage Modified Fretless Jazz bass body, which has been drilled for a pickguard by the previous owner.
The neck is a Squier Affinity "P" Neck, although it is a Jazz profile. The logo and SN have been crudely sanded off by the previous owner.
The wiring harness was upgraded to a Bayou Cables, not sure if it's the standard or 500k version. Knobs where changed to 'real' Jazz style.
The bridge is a slotted Badass, upgraded by the previous owner. Schaller straplocks.
Quite lightweight, I'd estimate below 9 lbs. as well.
Yes, I just busted the G-string before taking this picture. If you'd like, I will find a complete, although dead, used set and put them on, or I can get some strings and put them on before shipping.
I'll even throw in the grey Ernie Ball strap with Schaller locks on both ends.
Figuring in the upgrades, I'll let this one go for
$250 shipped. My wife would really prefer me to sell this one, but will let it be traded, straight up OR plus cash on your end.
