Too many basses and this one does not get the love it deserves. I guess I haven't "bonded" with a fretless neck.
I am the second owner of this bass and have had it a little over a year. I bought the bass off of Craigs List from a seller who happened to be a member of the TB fellowship and an employee of GC. A very nice person.
I'm guessing, when this bass was originally purchased the seller I bought the bass from took the "pick of the lot" because this is a very fine example of a Squier VM fretless. The bass has a great finish and the neck/fingerboard are in excellent condition. The bass overall is in excellent condition and is strung with XL Chromes (.45 - .100). The bass had flats on it when I purchased it and, based on the condition of the fingerboard, has had flats on it most if not all of its life.
I'm asking $200.00 or equivalent in trade. Pretty firm on the price, I think this is a fair price. No case and I'm keeping this local right now.
Things I might be interested in trading for(and willing to add a little cash for the right trade):
MB 102 or 15 Traveler cab
Sadowsky external preamp
Aguilar Tome Hammer preamp
Hit me up with an offer, worst I can do is say "no."
Pictures of the bass (anything that looks like a scratch is a reflection of overhead lighting), first full front:
Headstock looking down the neck:
Closeup of the neck (sorry a little blurry):
Back of the bass (the pad on the back is a scratch pad that keeps scratches from happening and DOES NOT damage the finish, not included).
Thanks for checking out this fine example of a VM fretless.
