Up for sale is a modified Squier 5 string jazz. This is an amazing sounding and playing bass. Have had this bass a couple of years in case I needed a fiver. I'm the original owner. Doesn't get played much as I prefer 4 strings. A close friend is going to let me hang onto his Spector 5 string for awhile so the Squier will get played even less. I tried a couple of different pickups but honestly the Duncans sound best with the Delano pre, something about the combo.

Bass plays and sounds really great. With the Ultalight tuners and the small extra route under the pickguard the weight of this bass is right about 10lbs but more importantly it balances perfectly now. My wimpy chubby shoulders can't usually handle more than 9.5 lbs but I can comfortably wear this 5 string without issue. It's also in excellent shape as it's never left my house.
Looking for $350 shipped CONUS. Considering these go for $330 new and this bass has had a lot of work and a few hundred dollars in parts installed, this is a screaming good deal. Trade for a head. Maybe a cool weird four string bass? Run anything by me.
