Up for sale is my 5 string Stambaugh I received November 2011.

Here are the specs:
Tobacco Burst
33" scale
24 frets
small frets
Ebony blocks and binding
3 piece maple neck
0 fret
maple fingerboard
straplocks
Custom Aero pups with two J humbuckers and P in between
Mike Pope 4 band pre
Hipshot hardware
1 master volume, blend for neck pup, coil tap, 3 way toggle for bridge and P pup
thin neck profile
mahogany body with maple top

The pics are from my iphone, so not the greatest. I'll try to find my wife's camera and put up some better ones. The bass was recently professionally set up by Tom's Guitars in Indianapolis. There are some slight markings (buckle rash) on the back that are hard to see in person, and do not show up on camera. Two of the pics show marks: one on the lower cutaway (not sure where that came from) and an indentation near the forearm area (a venue patron knocked a chair into it on my first gig with it!!).
$2700 shipped and insured CONUS
The only trades I would be interested in are a Lakland 55-02 Deluxe, an Ashdown RPM-1 Preamp, or an Eden WP-100 Preamp, plus cash on your end. If you have questions, just ask.

Is this 33" bass strung B to G, or E to C?

It's strung B to G.
On another note, if anyone is in the Indianapolis area Friday or Saturday, I'll be performing at the Slippery Noodle. I can bring it so you can have a look. Here is another pic from when it was being built; I think it shows the finish a little better:

Just a reminder to anyone in the Indy area: I'll be in Indy tonight at the Slippery Noodle, if anyone wants to check out the bass.
Have a great weekend!

Saturday bump. Again, I'm in Indy tonight if anyone wants to see the bass in person.

Actually the burst appears to be much darker on Melkin's, though that could be the lighting.

PMs replied.
BTW, weight is around ten pounds.

It looks exactly like mine. Mine is definitely 33"; which is what I ordered. I also asked for a mahogany body; that one says alder.
Hmmmm.....:eyebrow:

Here's a pic with a ruler. Center of the zero fret down the middle of the neck. You'll see that the 12th fret comes up at 16.5". Attachment 311581

I'm taking this bass off the market. I've spent a lot of time with it this week and feel like I'm making a mistake selling it. Sorry for any inconvenience. I am trying to thin the herd, so keep an eye out: I'll probably be putting up my Lakland 55-64 soon. Thanks
