FS/FT - Stambaugh 5 string w/ 13 pin

Sign in to disble this ad
I'm looking to either sell ($2,000 + s/h - CONUS only) or trade my Stambaugh 5 string w/ Aguilar preamp, ABM bridge with RMC saddles and Roland 13-pin input.

I've been utilizing my 6 string exclusively and have not been giving the Stambaugh 5 the time it should be given.

If this is something you are interested in buying please send me a PM with an offer. I really have no idea what the value is (paid over $2,500 and had a 7 month wait).

If this is something you are interested in trading for, I am looking for a 6 string bass (either 34" or 35" scale). Wish list would include another Stambaugh, Warrior Signature, Warwick Thumb NT, Roscoe, Modulus Quantum 6 (preferable w/ EMG's). There are other great luthiers out there that I am not familiar that but would entertain the idea of. Talkbass was my source and confidence when buying this Stambaugh 5 so I'm sure somebody out there has a great 6 string that they are just not using.

Don't know if there are guitar players out there either but I would also entertain a guitar trade as well (Jackson USA models, Warrior, Stambaugh, ESP (not LTD), etc).

PM me for photos additional photos and any angle/shot you'd like to see.

Sale price and add'l photo

Added sale price of $2,000 (+ s/h) (paid over $2,600 originally w/ 7 month wait for build) and one more photo. Still available for trade for 6 string of equivalent value and features (I'd love a 6 string w/ the 13 pin).

Also still available for trade for guitars (if there are guitar players out there as well). I love the RADICAL body shape designs as well as the "classy" guitars w/ nice tops.

Here's a little more info on the bass (bump):

- 34" scale
- Neck is maple/wenge/bubingab/wenge/maple neck thru
- Fretboard is purpleheart w/ bass clef inlay
- Body is mahogany
- Top is burled maple (nice piece!!)
- Aguilar pre-amp
- 3 band eq with midrange select switch
- ABS bridge (about 17.5 mm spacing) / RMC bridge saddles
- Roland on board system w/ 13 pin output
- Bartolini dual coil classic pickup

I am the original owner. Anything I haven't covered that anyone might want to know about? Thanks.

I'm also open for "other items" if you have stuff sitting around that you're not using - Large screen LED televisions, PS3 system, etc. Again, just want it to be an equitable trade.

Nice!!

Hahahahaha... you da' man Spencer!!!

Seriously, what happened with the Stambaugh 6 w/ 13 pin trade? That thing was sweet!!!! That's EXACTLY what I'm looking for. I can buy the GR-3B and attach to any 6 string, however the onboard system is so much "cleaner" looking. Sweet looking Pavel on Ebay right now.

Calling JehuJava...... reconsider....
