FS/FT: Status Graphite Ltd Edition Eclipse 5 w/LEDs

Sign in to disble this ad
This is a beautiful bass that I recently got in a trade with TB'er jimc. I really wanted to love this illuminated beauty but unfortunately the 18mm string spacing just doesn't agree with my right hand. All my other basses are 19mm and I can feel the difference.

So I thought I'd offer it back up and see who might be interested.

1996 Status Eclipse Limited Edition 5 (#42 of only 100 made)
Cherryburst finish over flame maple
Graphite neck-through design
Red LED markers on the side of the board
Two Custom Status Soap Bar PUs w/Chrome covers
18 volt Active Status Preamp
Vol, Blend, Treble, Bass w/Mid switch (3 way) and LED switch
18mm String Spacing
10.6 lbs.
Original Status Hiscox Molded Hard Shell Case

Virtually mint condition. Just a couple of very minor marks that are impossible to photograph and hardly worth mentioning.

Sold! $1,975.00 OBO including shipping and insurance in the CONUS.

I will consider trades or trade + cash offers but I'm pretty picky. Let me know what you have and the worst that can happen is I say "no thanks"!

Photos courtesy of TB'er jimc

Just curious - if it's 18 volt, why does there appear to be three battery boxes?

2 for the 18v pre and 1 for the LED's would be my guess.

I checked the scale is it is 34".

I have had a couple interesting offers but so far nothing I want to move on. Anybody want a woven graphite beauty? These basses are really something special.
