Hi Folks,
I bought this bass new last summer from Beaver at Bass Central. It is a beautiful bass, but for my style of finger picking, my fingers hit the vol and pan knobs. SO, rather than modify this killer bass, I'm going to sell or trade for the right Modulus or Zon 6 string. I'm open to other trades. Outright sale: $2600Trades, mostly interested in Modulus or Zon but willing to listen to offers.
Specs:
woven carbon fiber bolt-on neck 34 3/4 inch scale
24 fret, dual trussrod, 18mm spacing
wide response pickups and 303 Preamp with treble, bass, and variable mid. 18 volt
Body has a flame-spalted maple top with a satin finish
the body wings are mahogany and the tone block walnut. There is a fine pinstrip of blueish wood between the top and the wings.
Plays very well.
The neck is faster and thinner (front to back) than my Q6was. More like a flattened D shape. Balances well, and is of average weight.
Tonally, this bass can sound like a 10' grand piano or a burpy jazz. The electronics are among the most flexible of any I've used. The B is on par with my Q6. It has a bit more aggresive character.
Comes with Hiscox flight case and case candy.
Very low usage. Could pass for new. Feel free to ask any questions.
Thanks,
Derrick |

Good luck on the sale/trade.

LEJ, Sadowsky, Valenti, Lull, and yes... even Ken Lawrence basses
But Freaky, when the weather changes I'm coming over and you are gonna do my setup for me |

| | | | Hi There,
What is the weight of this beauty?
I may be very interested. Also is this your bottom dollar price? If there is any wiggle room, you may have an instant sale.
Thanks,
Stan |

I know it's a long shot but I have an Status Empathy 6 string fretless that I'd trade along with my S2 for a Fodera. I'm not interested in any single cuts. I had a Fodera years ago and I'd like another taste of one.
It's a chance to have two sweet 6ers for one bass.
I'm also interested in 5 string Zon, Modulus, etc. for trade for the S2. It would have to be even swap or cash on your end if the values are different. |

You listed Zon as trade potential.
