Yes, it's the truth. I have ultimately come to the decision to trade this beauty off. I completed this bass a few months ago and have slowly come to the conclusion that the tone this bass has to offer is just not for me. Specs are as follows:
Warmoth swamp ash body
Status Graphite J neck
SGD Neo-Jazzbucker pickups (first ones produced!)
Hipshot tuners
Hipshot vintage bridge
Schaller straplocks
All black hardware
Pure sexiness
I would give this bass a 9 out of 10 as far as cosmetics go, and there only 2 things that are less than perfect on this bass. 1: Light scratches on the pickguard 2: The control cover isn't perfectly aligned with the pickguard. When I got the pickguard it wasn't cut to the perfect size, and me being the impatient person I am, put it on anyway. (I'm not a professional and I will never claim to be )
Other than that the bass is immaculate and jaw dropping! At the moment I am looking for a good amp head (Ampeg, Genz Benz, ect.), and as far as basses go, I'm interested in a Lakland, Fender, or an EBMM (4 string only). However, hit me up with any offer you can think of, the worst I can do is say no.

Recorded using the mic on a point and shoot camera (it's all I've got haha). Please forgive the camera not knowing what to focus on and the sorry excuse for bass playing http://s143.photobucket.com/albums/r...t=MOV05322.flv |

Seriously, how much more black could that bass be? The answer is none. None more black. |
