Got this bass a while ago on trade from bassphreak. I wanted to give a Stingray a try for a while, and I did, I want some short scales now, so this needs to go.
Just as pictured/described previously here: Sterling Ray 34
I played it very lightly around the house. Never gigged it or anything.
The thumbrest will not be included because I like it too much It's going on another one of my basses.
I restrung it with a fresh set of Chromes. It sounds and plays great!
$420 shipped OBO? or will possibly trade for a short scale bass of comparable value--I have my heart set on a CIJ Mustang and would consider trading this +$100 for one.
I will have more high-res pics later today, for now please check the link to the previous sale. |

| | | Such a fine instrument at this price range! This is a ton of bass for the buck.
I have the same one and was looking to move on to something else as well. Not because anything was wrong with the bass... I'm still just "soul searching" for that perfect bass
Bumb for a great bass at an unbelievable price!

| | | | One of the things I disliked about mine most is that there was no thumbrest? How did you add it on bassphreak?

The thumbrest is made of a really neat looking wood, I haven't seen one like it before. |

Bumb for a great bass at an unbelievable price! | Stingrays are not for everyone, but I would recommend that everyone spend some time with one. Although the fit and finish on the "real" stingrays is better, IMO you can't get closer to the 'ray sound and feel in this price range. |

I wanted to try one for a while and it wasn't for me, but I'm glad I had it for a while. |

| | Registered User | | | | | bump, some good offers, nothing serious yet.
I would prefer to sell but will consider trade for something modern-ish like a warwick or ibanezSR, or for something hollow or semi-hollow. | | Thread Tools | Search this Thread | | | |
