FS/FT Stingray 4HS and Sterling 4HH
Hello to all,
I am trying to downsize right now. It took me a long time to figure things out, but I've come to the realization that, while I love the sound of the Stingray, the Sterling neck is where it's at for me. I think you see where this is going...I need a Stingray SLO.
I've got two great Music Man basses that I am ready to move.
First up, a Stingray 4HS - black and maple. It is in excellent condition overall. A few very small little scratches (visible on close inspection under the right light at the right angle, but not when viewing head on). There are also a few light scratches on the back. Overall...very, very clean. I would be comfortable calling it a 9/10. I have three different pickguards for it (black/grey/white stipe; tortoise; black). The case is in excellent condition (not a gigging musician, so the cases rarely leave my home). I tried to take pictures of the small scratches on the bass, but they did not show up in the photos.
Second, a Sterling 4HH - blue with rosewood fretboard. Very, very clean - probably 9.5/10 - no major scratches or dings. This one also comes with three pickguards (blue candy crush swirl; black petaloid; black). Case in excellent condition.
I don't know the dates of either of them and do not know how to use their serial numbers to date them.
The posting tool only allowed me to upload two photos total, so I included one of the Stingray (with black/white/grey custom pick guard) and one of the Sterling (with blue candy crush swirl custom pick guard).
Pricing these very fairly from the get-go:
Stingray - ($950 shipped)
Sterling - ($950 shipped)
I would be willing to consider a trade deal for either of these (both plan to move both of them) for a Stingray SLO. I am mostly interested in the Black Cherry Burst finish or the stealth finish.
I ship in the continental US only.
Thanks for considering!
