In the month of January, my MusicMan Bongo was stolen. I attempted to trade this bass several times as I never used it quite as much as I'd have liked to and would've needed an electric bass.
I got the Bongo back (thank you Scranton Police department), but have decided I want an upright bass (and have been taking lessons on one for a while.)
As such, that's really all I'm looking for trade-wise, but I will listen to any offers.
The price I'm looking for is $800 SHIPPED, and I'm in no big rush to sell it, but feel free to haggle with me anyway.
The bass itself is in mint condition, the case is not.
The case has those 4 little rubber legs, in which case most have either fallen off or begun to fall off, and there is one giant scratch on the case.
Look at the photos for that, I did my best to try to capture it but flash cameras do a bit to prohibit it.

serial number is G 192 5 12 0
which indicates it was made in 2003 and manufactured on July 16th.
Tacoma was bought out by Fender in 2004, it was made on
Thus, it is a pre-fender buyout Thunderchief!

If you're interested in teaching a 53 y/o electric banjo player who wants to expand into bass, that is... ;-) |

Had a local luthier say it was an easy fix, as the body of a tacoma is a two piece and its not split too much, supposedly could be fixed by keeping in a dehumidified area while in a tight clamp for a long while with maybe a bit of other luthier trickery. Told me it would cost $100-200, which I said thanks but no thanks: but i officially had it investigated.
Make an offer on her if you want. I had someone else offer me $720, but it turns out that person was a total internet scam artist. High five?

Free real world experience bump.

also note I'm not looking for $800 anymore, I'm looking for a best offer. I still want a certain amount, but, it'd be unreasonable of me to ask for the same amount with the crack.
