FS/FT: Thinning the herd (Fender, Dingwall, Spector, Ibanez basses)

Sign in to disble this ad
Alright. The day has come. I have too much stuff. As much as i love it, i dont use enough and it needs to go. Especially the fact i got more stuff coming on the way. I am looking for sales mostly, but i am always open to trade offers (6 strings+ please)maybe pedals, or rack gear , just to see whats out there. But my main goal is to sell. Sorry if this thread takes awhile to load, i put alot of pics. But its all detailed, Happy shopping!

All prices include shipping CONUS. No international shipping, sorry.

Up first:

Fender Geddy lee signature jazz $625

SOLD

I changed the pickguard from the traditional white/black/white to a black/cream/black. Choice is the buyers. I can put the stock back on, or ship it as is. The bass is all stock. There is a tiny ding on the back of the neck, i dont find it effects playability at all.

Dingwall Combustion 5 - Natural finish $1100

TRADED

Bass is practically brand new. Never gigged. Used in studio once, sounded great. The canadian made pickups sound great, actually some of my favorite pickups.

Now for my Spector collection.

Spector Legend 6 $450

This one really hurts to get rid of. Went into a store looking for a 5 string, and saw this on clearance. Decided i was going to add a string. Then it was over, turned me into an ERB - aholic. Bass is 35" scale, basswood body w/bubinga veneer. EMG-SSD pickups. One of the best B strings ive played, and ive played some good ones. Only downside is weight. Its a heavy one. But its a damn good players bass. My main go to bass for the past few years.

Spector NS2000/Q6 $375

This was purchased to be a backup to the bass above. Only used it at practice a few times and at home. Basically same bass as the Legend, just earlier model. Body is not contoured like traditional NS bodies. 35" scale, EMG-HZ's, basswood body, maple neck, rosewood board.

Spector NS2JA-R $900

Euro spector. EMG active jazz pickups, EMG BTpre amp, Maple body, Maple neck/rosewood fretboard, Badass bridge. Very light, comfortable contoured body. Only 83 made of each color. Just purchased the bass a month & 1/2 ago. Love this bass, only listing it because i really dont play my 4's that much. Though this is one im not afraid to keep if the offer isnt right. I would be most likely to accept trades for this one.

Ibanez SR655PB $500

Rare "Blue moon" poplar burl finish. Only 150 of this finish imported in the US. Mahogany body, jatoba/bubinga neck. Lightweight, very comfortable. Bartolini Mk1 pickups, active preamp. There is a crack in the finish by the bridge strapholder. It looks like the box it was in was dropped during shipping when i received it. Ive been told it is repairable, and if left alone it should be fine as it wont spread unless dropped or damaged again. The straplock is in secure. Bass plays beautifully and is one of the nicest Ibanez SR's out there IMO. i have 2. Thats why i am getting rid of one.

And thats all folks. I accept paypal, and ship quickly!

I would snatch that NS2000 so fast if I didn't just have to fork over $500 to repair my busted upright...

Dingwall has been traded. Everything but the Geddy Lee and Dingwall Combustion are still available.

No longer accepting trades, unless its for a focusrite compounder.
