Up for grabs is my Tobias Growler. It's a very versatile bass, with more than its fair share of tones under the hood. I got this locally from a guy on craigslist, played it out a few times, and realized that as great as it is, my jazz tends to get 99% of my play time, and this bass is a bit too nice to be sitting on a stand as my back up bass.
The gentleman I got this from said it had lived it's life out in his studio, and hadn't been gigged, and for once, I actually believe the story someone from craigslist told me!

This bass is in great shape, with only a couple little dings and some scratching, which I have not attempted to get out with polish. Up until I got it, it still had the protective backing on the electronics compartment, and the original batteries in it!
Once I got it, I put on a new set of DR's, gave it a set up, and changed out the batteries for a pair of fresh Pro Cells.
The electronics in this bass are REALLY cool. The pickup is a quad coil, and the controls are a master volume, with a blend for the coils, as well as separate bass and treble controls for each pair of coils, as well as a mid switch for each set of coils! Talk about a lot of tones at your fingertips!!
I'm looking to get $650 plus shipping or to trade this for another jazz, maybe a P, a stingray, etc.
Anyway, here's some pictures of the bass...
I'll take some other pictures when I have some spare time.
