SOLD!!!
$625, shipped to the CONUS.
Made in USA, Peavey Millennium. Black Pearl color. Literally, like new. In original Peavey gig bag, with warranty card.
I weighed it last night and wrote it down, but don't have the note with me and can't remember. I think 8.4 pounds? I'll check and update later.
I bought this one because the fretboard has the coolest figuring in the wood! And, I think, wood fret markers. They're a light brown/tannish color. But, I'm really only playing 5-strings and I have 2 other 4-strings that rank higher on my Must Keep list, so I decided to make some room in my home studio and this needs to go.
If you're not familiar with Peavey Millenniums, the controls are Master Volume, Pickup Blend, Bass boost/cut, Treble boost/cut, and a stacked Mid knob that gives Mid boost/cut and a Mid frequency sweep, so you can adjust the center of the frequency band that is being affected by the Mid boost/cut knob.
The preamp and mid-frequency sweep on these is what really makes them sound awesome. The mid-sweep really lets you dial in your sound. That is why I have upgraded 3 of my other Peavey basses (including my US Cirrus) to have Millennium preamps.
People are really starting to catch on to how awesome US Peavey basses are. Prices are going up. Get this one now. The longer I sit on it, the more likely the price will go up on it. Especially with a fretboard as unique as this one.
I'm open to trades, but I'd only be interested in:
- Peavey B-Quad 5 (magenta)
- US G&L SB-1 or SB-2
- Sadowsky PJ5 or HPJ5 (preferably, with maple board)
- Other Made in USA basses that are 5 or 6 string. Nothing low-end, though.
