FS/FT: USA G&L SB-2

Sign in to disble this ad
Minty G&L SB-2 with tone knob and stacked volume/balance knob. Bourdeaux Red metallic gloss finish (traditional metallic, not the flashier "metal flake" type). Pearloid pickguard. Maple neck and fretboard. Strung with nicely broken in but not dead DR sunbeams. Includes G&L Hardshell case (a little scuffed) and documentation, decal. Straplocks are not original.

Great feeling and sounding bass. I am simply crossing over into the world of Warwick completely

I'm looking to trade this for a Warwick Fortress P/J (wenge neck/fretboard), (preferably a Fortress R&B or other fortress with an ash body, or a Fortress Flashback 5-string or 4-string with 2tek bridge). I'm not interested in a Masterman version at the moment, and a J/J fortress would be a stretch for me (lemme know if ya got one though ).

You can try me with other trades, but I really have a clear idea of what I want, and am likely to just keep the SB-2 until I get me a Fortress.

Though I prefer a trade, I would be willing to sell outright for $875 shipped in the CONUS

That's basically the only bass one would ever need

thanks guys. still available.

while I want a P-J, I'm not looking to replace this with a fender type bass - I would just keep the SB-2 in that case, as IMHO it is the ultimate "Fender bass"

Any Interest in a 1999 Warwick Thumb BO 5 w/ Wenge Neck? Yes, I know it's not a Fortress, but I had to take a shot.

i believe it is a #8, 1.5" at the nut with a 12" fingerboard radius, "modern narrow C" profile

Free bump for a cool bass I wish I could afford right now.
I really want a G&L Pbass.
(Is it just me or has this thing been here for quite a bit?)

Wish I could help you out, but I finally found my perfect backup SB-2, so I'm officially out of the hunt.

Good luck with the sale!
