Bathroom scale says between 10 and 11. That's the best that I can do for a weight.

But that is fairly accurate. My wife verified that our scales match our doctor's scales this past Thursday.

Metro arrives Monday to take its place. Somebody buy this bass before it goes to evilBay!

And I suppose I could consider trades again....even to include a two-fer with the Schroeder cab I have for sale.

Lemme know!

Gahhh... I'm so broke, and my fiance has begun paying close critical attention to any new arrivals of basses, pedals, etc.

Here's what I'd do otherwise, and I recommend this to anyone else who's thinking this would be a very cool bass aside from the weight. Strip the hardware off the body and send it to Mike Dolan. Have him fill the 2Tek rout/cavity with a block of swamp ash. Refin the whole body whatever color you like. And mount a lightweight Hipshot bridge. Dolan could do all that for just a couple-few hundred bucks, and you end up with one of the most badass semi-custom made-in-the-USA Jazz basses a person could hope for, and it would be a very reasonable weight. Heck, swap the tuners for some Hipshot UL's too.

Better yet...I'll sell you the whole thing and let you scrap the 2TEK at your leisure. But I'll bet you won't. The low B sounds HUGE and honestly the best of just about any -- if not all -- I've tried or owned.

Still here...waiting to go to your house!

I'll open the ball up for trades. I think that a 55-01 would be cool or something similar. Any interest in trades here?

The 2-tek is the best part about these basses. Those bridges are unmatched.

Hamer 5 string

I can't understand why this bass wasn't snatched up when it was 1st listed. Quality far exceeds any jazz bass out there-, great tone and the 2 TEK bridge sustains into next week. If I wasn't out of work, I'd be playing that bass right about now

My 4-string with 2TEK (and tapped Aeros!) is so awesome, that I'm seriously thinking about buying this to try out 5-string again....

I don't understand. People will snatch up a F*nder in a heartbeat, but this bass...that destroys most ANY F*nder..is still here.

Free bump!

Okay, so something has come up that I am seriously GASSING for. This is my last price drop and is only good if the bass I'm looking at doesn't sell before I can raise the cash. Otherwise, I'll be keeping this one.

(and no, I won't tell you what it is that I'm looking at!)

$450 gets it shipped to your door in CONUS.

I'm actually pretty happy with the sound of the Basslines.

It compares favorably to my Metro in sound -- well similar any way -- at a fraction of the cost. And prolly has better sustain than the Sado, on top of that.
