FS/FT: USA Peavey Cirrus- PRICE DROP!

FS/FT: USA Peavey Cirrus
$700 Shipped Conus w/HSC SOLD!

Up for sale or trade is a USA Cirrus I got from another TB’er here almost two years ago. Exceptional bass. Only getting rid of it because my Roscoe fills my “modern” tone needs a little more to my liking so this one gets little play time. It’s in very good condition. No issues. It has a few little surface coat scuffs/scratches but nothing out of the ordinary. No major dings. Has that stellar Cirrus slap tone that’s frequently been discussed here on TB. Capable of very low action w/ no buzzing. This is a very high quality bass that’s on par with many boutique basses that I’ve played that cost 3 to 4 times more than what I’m asking. Only trades considered are listed below. Not looking to make a profit on this bass, just asking what I paid for it.

Specs:

Active electronics
Mid/bass/treble/vol/blend
Maple top/alder body
35” scale
Serial #11666280
Strap pins will accept Dunlop straplocks (sorry don’t have the parts that fit on the strap)
Original hardshell case

Trade List:

Modulus Quantum 4 or 5 (Bartolini equipped ONLY)
Modulus VJ
Modulus Genesis J-style
Roscoe 4-string
2008 or 2009 USA Fender Jazz (maple board only)
2008 or 2009 USA Fender Precision (maple board only)
Fender Steve Harris Precision
Fender Road Worn Precision
Spector Euro 4 or 5

I’ll try to get this weighed as soon as I can. Seems fairly light compared to most other basses I’ve played.

Take in mind that, due to my work schedule, it’s possible that I will only be able to ship this on Saturday.

As I’m sure I’ve probably forgotten to mention some things, feel free to ask any questions.

Sorry, but I WILL NOT ship internationally.

Paypal or USPS money order accepted.

I've had the SAME two 9v's in my Cirrus for about a year now. I was considering changing them just to keep the system fresh, but they are still just fine.

I play AMPLIFIED (the cord plugged in completes the circuit ) about 10 hours a week. I play about an hour a day unplugged.

Batteries are just fine.

These basses are simply amazing.

No more so than any other active electronics.

I have this in Peacock Blue. If the house caught fire and I could only grab one bass, that would be the one. Most underrated and underappreciated bass of all time. Excellent price.

I've never had a problem. Still using the same batteries I put in nearly 2 years ago when I first bought it.

Not true.. I'm going on 8 months now with the same set. I usually change mine once a year just to be safe. The 18v preamp in these are amazing!

Bump for one of the best basses arround

The batteries in my 6er have been fine for over a year. These are amazing basses, and that is a steal of a price! Bump for a great bass!

The bass is now on ebay as well. I'd much rather sell/trade it to a TB'er so if it goes here first, I'll cancel the ebay auction.
