FS/FT - Valenti P - Serial #010...Bring Maple Necks!!!

Sign in to disble this ad
So, lets give it a run with some pictures.
I traded for this bass a few weeks back with a local TB'er.
As far as Precisions go, I have yet to find one this comfortable.

Gigged this weekend with my AmSTD Jazz w/ Maple neck and DR LowRiders...it was like putting on an old pair of tennis sneakers. Just fits!!

So this beauty's short run in my stable will come to an end.
The specs and construction are unchanged from the data on Nino's website. One match head size ding in the upper horn that does not seem to be spreading. Some minor tarnish on the HB1 tuners.
Otherwise, excellent.

What I am looking for...
$1200 Shipped to CONUS...

What I am looking for MORE than cash...
4-String Jazz with MAPLE NECK/FRETBOARD...Fender, G&L, Valenti (I will add a few $$$), Sadowsky, Lull, USACG (You will need to add $$$), Lakland Skyline is a maybe at this point, a LPB Darryl Jones might do the trick.

4-String EBMM Sterling or Stingray w/ SLO Maple Neck. Prefer HH or HS configuration.

Painted headstocks and block inlays are a BIG FAT PLUS...

For now, I am holding out for a maple neck. If I decide to go rosewood, ebony, etc...DUFF's American Deluxe will get first right of refusal. (Love that charcoal color!!)

Thanks to all TB'ers interested thus far!!

Funny you should say that...

I actually sent an email to Nino (at least to the email address listed on his site) requesting just that.

I wanted to know the cost of dropping in a J or a soapbar at the bridge, and relic finish to make the small paint chip a non-issue. Great minds think alike.

Also, already ordered black HB-1's, a Black BadAssII, black pearl guard and black knobs, to change up the appearance a bit.

I love Olympic White, but have never been a big tortoise guy.

Never got a response from Nino, but have yet to try to contact him on TalkBass.

Heard from Mr. Valenti this morning...

This baby is going to NewYork to get a Nordy Jazz dropped in at the bridge.

Then, it's off to Marty Bell for a Sparkle paint job!!

Can't wait!!!
