EDIT: pulling back trade interest. Offering for sale only now.
I just can't help myself. I have a soft spot to try different and rare basses and this one caught my eye. I recently took this in on a partial trade. It's pretty nice with killer looks. In the end it's not for me.
These were only made for a very short run (I think 06-08). I think it's basically a 500 series SRX (maybe the 590 is closest) with a very cool finish and barbed wire fret inlay. Sound is on par with the SRX line. I'd say very modern sounding. It's not for everyone. But definitely caught my eye.
It's in fantastic, like new condition with little to no wear or marks on it. I can't find much on this model. Found the ZZSounds (

Specs that I can find:
The Ibanez SRX520 is a limited production Soundgear Extreme bass with a striking Special Dark Swirl finish and Barbed Wire inlay. From the outrageous appearance to the super-high output PFR pickups, this instrument's ready to rock as hard as you are. The SRX design provides easy playability and a big, fat tone that is ideal for rock, blues, hard rock, classic rock and metal. Onboard 2-band EQ gives you a huge range of tone to work with.
Not sure what to price this at. It's in great shape. Let's say $300 shipped. Comes with a basic gigbag.
