I do this reluctantly as this was my main bass for over 12 years. I sold this earlier this year and got it back in a trade:
Warmoth Jazz 5
Quilt Top With Amber Finish (A little Orange in the tint.) The quilt is gorgeous!
Ebony Fingerboard
34" Scale
Bartolini Jazz PUPs
Bartolini 2-Band Preamp
Wilkinson Bridge
Dunlap Straplocks
Strung w/SIT Nickel Round Wounds
Ships in a Fender Molded Hardshell case that provides excellent protection
Bought this bass from fellow TBer JOME77. He was the builder and has done all the maintenance and setups when needed.
Flaws: Some typical buckle rash for a 12yr old bass. A tiny scratch on the front. Can't get it to show up in pic. 1 scratch on back about 1 1/4"
Looking for $800.00 (Shipped and Insured to the lower 48 states)
Possible Trades: Quality P-basses (Preferably 5ers)
Thanks for looking.

It's polymerized tung oil. Quite a but more durable than traditional tung oil.
Good luck with the sale! |

Good luck with the sale! | Ah, thank you. I was just referring to the 'feel' of the bass, sometimes ones with a high gloss can feel like a toy to me (like my P bass)

Thank you...and Beautiful bass!

1 7/8 total nut width. 17.5-18mm spacing at the bridge. My bifocals won't let me zero in. Quote:

Maybe a silly question, and I'm sorry if I missed it in the posts above....alder body? If so, I've got to think it's a tone monster. Nice warmth and fatness with that Bartolini edginess. Good luck with the transaction! |

Thanks for asking, It is an alder body.
You are right on the money about the tone. She sits in the pocket like it's her home. Crank in some treble and she cuts through like a swithcblade.
And you knew with Joe building it nothing but BLACK HARDWARE!
Thanks for the bump. Quote:

Lord knows the last thing I need is another bass...and at that another five-string Jazz. But man, this one just looks so awesome! Folks...don't hesitate on this. Terrific price for this instrument. Good luck! | | Thread Tools | Search this Thread | | | |
