Gents,
SOLD - Thanks Rid.
Big Price drop for this forum - $SOLD
It's up on the bay with lots of watchers.
Once it lands a bid (auction starts at $1900) I will pull this ad.
thnks.
I'm parting with my 7 String Warrior neck thru.
Stunning bass. Just never got around to doing anything with a 7 string.
New they are over $5K.
To move it - $1950 firm.
Or trade towards a sadowsky 5 nyc J or j/p. fretted or fretless or an american fender 5
I've never seen another neck-thru 7 (especially with top tier woods) near this price.
I'm in Brooklyn. Well known (and verifiable) TBers are welcome to come play it.
Details
No idea of what woods and don't want to guess. (beautiful bass though)
34" Scale
Weight - compared to my Fender J5 its about the same. A bit heavier than my early 80's J4.
Barts. Pots are a bit scratchy from lack of use.
Controls are Master Vol, Balance, concentric high/low, mid boost
Strap locks on it but I can't find the parts that go on the straps.
Bridge String spacing measuring the center of the lowest string to the center of the highest string
= 3 14/16
Widths measured end to end
nut = 2 6/16, 12fret =3 5/16,
Widths measured using center of low string to center of highest string -
nut = 2 1/16, 12th fret = 2 15/16,
Action is clean the whole board except for some buzz on fret 15 on the low B,E,A strings.
It came to me with a few doinks (pics) and some marks on the neck sides near the nut, presumably from hanging on a neck holder.
It's a beautifully built bass and deserves to be in the hands of someone with a 7 string vision.
I can be found on TGP (edhamgtr), ebay (edhamgtr, perfect 162 feedback), gearlutz(edham), the DUC (edham).
Card carrying 802 member and easily looked up on the web.
Drop me a PM if interested.
