FS/FT: Warrior Dran Michael 5 DM5

$1650 SHIPPED CONUS
Hey there, up for sale or trade is my Warrior Dran Michael 5. Terrific playing and sounding bass. I got it in a trade a few months ago. Love the tone and playability but my band is playing mostly throw-back groove and funk and I've come to realize I could really use a P-bass. It looks very nice, there's just a couple small dings near the input jack which I've taken a picture of. Here are the specs...
Art Humidifier Warrior HSC
- Red burst color
- Block inlays
- Pickups - Bartolini
- Preamp - Bartolini NTMB 4.6
- Bridge - Hipshot
- Scale Length - 34"
- String Spacing - 18.5mm
- Body Wood - Alder
- Neck - Mahogany with Purple heart wood Stringers; Bolt-On
- Fretboard - Gabon Ebony
- Custom control knobs
- Nut - Bone

The previous owner did some modifications to the preamp which he describes as follows...
"I installed a new Bartolini NTMB 4.6 preamp
The preamp is Active/ passive option with mid freq selection on the mid pot (pull up to change mid freq value)

The mini dptt switch now controls the front humbucking pickup for series parallel and front single coil option

I installed a battery box to hold 9v for preamp."

The warrior hardshell case lock is busted. The two latching locks work fine and it hasn't been an issue for me, but if you want it to lock, you'll need to get it fixed or replaced.

You can hear the bass in action at....http://soundcloud.com/planet-jackers
The first track features some effects in the second half
"Old E" has a bass solo a couple minutes in
"The Closer" has fingerstyle and slap.

The tracks are from the direct out of my GK MB800.

I'd be interested in trades for the following...
4 or 5 string passive or active/passive switchable P-style bass (Fender MIA, MIJ; Nordy, Lull, Xotic XP, etc. +/- cash)
Boss RC-50 +cash
EHX Bass Microsynth +cash
Source Audio Multiwave Bass Distortion Pro +cash
Source Audio Dimension Reverb +cash

Not interested in any amps/cabs/combos or other basses besides those listed. Thanks!

This bass is an absolute tone monster for that mtd/smith modern sound. I did the preamp mod replacement. Whoever gets this bass will be pleased

18.5mm spacing, not sure about exact weight, but it's pretty light. I'll try to get it to a scale next week.
