FS/FT Warwick / Cirrus / Elrick

The bass tone best suited to future set lists for my band is changing some, and it's time for me to let go of some things to make space and raise funds to get what I'll need going forward. I'm putting all three of these in the same post in case some combination deal arises.

AVAILABLE AGAIN...First up is a Warwick Thumb Bolt-On 4 fretless. Ovankol with Wenge (or possibly Ebony - it is pretty dark) unlined fingerboard. 34" scale, 9 lbs. 7 oz. It currently is wearing a set of Fender nylon wound strings for the express purpose of emulating an upright sound, which is does exceptionally well, and I'll include the set of flat wound strings it had when I traded for it. Includes Warwick RockBag and user kit. $1000 / BO

***SOLD*** Next is a Peavey USA Cirrus 5 fretless neck-thru, Ruby Red. Maple top, alder body, Pau Ferro fretboard. 35" scale, 9 lbs. 4 oz. New set of TI Jazz Flats installed, but it arrived to me with a standard set of Cirrus round wound stainless steel strings and (if you look hard) shows evidence of maybe an hour or so of playing with the factory set (which I'm now using on my other Cirrus 5). Like new condition, includes Peavey hard case (which is also minty, aside from the ever-present tears in the lining at the horn points I see on every Cirrus case) and factory candy. $1100 / BO. ***SOLD***

*** TRADED *** Finally... it's that Elrick NJS that everybody wants (again) that I got from Danny 18 months ago. I've had as much fun with it as I can imagine, and it's time to give the next person in line a turn. Lots of info on the lineage of this instrument is in Danny's thread here.. It's still in the excellent condition that I received it. 35" scale, 8 lbs. 4 oz., currently sporting a set of Sadowsky Black stainless steels, but I'll also throw in all the strings I have cut for it (Sadowsky blue stainless and nickel, RotoSound TruBass 88's, and the set it came with - reportedly DR Hi-BEAMS, but I can't be sure.) Low end on this thing is absolutely explosive, and I love the light weight. Includes the ultralight / hard case it arrived in. $1600 / BO. *** TRADED ***

I have more images on Flickr for each of these, and can add pics of any details as necessary.

Still primarily interested only in 5'ers as trade, with only the Warwick Thumb BO remaining on my side of the table. A Bongo 5 might be interesting; Fender Precision Dlx (P/J) also. Might consider a SWR Marcus Miller preamp. Dingwall is another curiosity. If the deal involves cash to me it should be PayPal e-check. CONUS ONLY. I'll include ground shipping and insurance.

Ah... that's the foam I had in there working to get the 'upright' sound. I'll include it.

I have to say that it's the most striking top of any bass I've owned so far.

(and implicitly a snowbound bump)

Trade

Hey I have a Sadowsky Modern 5 or custom Single Cut 5 for trade for your Elrick. Plus I'm local in Owings Mills. Let me know if you're interested and I can send you pictures and we can meet and check the basses in person.

Awesome! Sounds like a great equal trade. Valenti's are right up there with NY Sadowskys, Mike Lulls etc. Congratulations!

Well, the economy has struck again and the Warwick Thumb BO is STILL AVAILABLE! I've also adjusted the possible trades in the OP to reflect that only the 'wick is left on my side of the table. THANKS for all the great offers and suggestions so far!
