FS/FT Warwick Corvette Five String

************************************Bass is Gone. Thanks everyone for looking******************************************

I traded with a local guy for this bass a few months ago. I was immediately sold on the tone (tons of growl), but it turns out that I just can't get used to a five string. So, I’m looking to sell it for $650 including shipping or trade it, or a combo of the two. I’ll list a few things I’d be interested in, but first, let me describe the instrument.

The bass was made in 2006. The serial number is C-123559-06. It has a Swamp Ash body and Ovangkol neck. The condition of the bass is “good.” The passive MEC pickups, volume and tone pots, jack and tuners are all in fine working order.
There is one significant ding in the body, which you can see in the photo. And the truss rod cover has what amounts to a ding, as well. Here’s the story on that: It was installed backwards when I got the bass and when I tried to turn it around, I had a hell of a time getting it off. It is definitely meant to be installed in one direction.

The bass needs a set up. The neck is straight (not twisted) but may have too much relief. The action is low, but since I changed the strings, there is some fret buzz high on the neck, maybe around the 17th or 18th fret. The new strings are D’Addario Half Rounds.

I have the original gig bag, manual, tools and wax that Warwick provides. Here are some photos:

I can email larger photos to anyone who is interested.

As for trades, I'd consider:

-Lightweight amp heads in the 500W range.
-Smaller cabs (212s at the most)
-Short scale fretless basses
-Fender P-basses
-Fretless acoustics

Feel free to offer anything, but I may not decide on a trade for a bit. Again I'm asking for $650 shipped. I'm in western CT if anyone local is interested in a pick up.

Thanks for looking,

Brian

I forgot to mention guitars in my list of items I'd consider trading for, but I wouln't mind the right electric guitar to fool around with.

Hi Marcos,

I recently shipped a bass to Germany through the USPS and it cost $80. There was a size limitation, but the package came in just under it. So, the short answer is, I think I can ship it to you.

I'll send you these photos in hi-res tonight. Is there anything else in particular that you'd like to see?

Very tempting.... Any interest in a highway 1 P? Refinished in a lightly relic'd trans butterscotch w/ black guard?
