FS/FT Warwick Custom Streamer Bass - Unlined Fretless - Switchable LED Neck Markers

Sign in to disble this ad
Hello everyone. After a few years with this bass, I have come to the realization that it should be played much more often then I play it and I am really itchin' for a nice 5 string. So, heres what I've got.

EMG PJ Active bass pickups (Split Neck PU, Single Bridge PU)
Option X 60024 09, MEC electronics custom made for Warwick Basses
3-band EQ for active PU 4 knobs: volume/balance/pull-push (stacked), mid, bass, treble

Matching all gold hardware (machine heads, bridge, knobs)

Unlined Ebony fretless neck w/ switchable LED markers (On the side of the neck not on the fingerboard). These are the super bright LED's that I don't believe they offer anymore and they run on 3 9-volt batteries. The triple 9 volt clip broke at one point and has since been completely redone with a new terminal that is much stronger than the original battery clip.

Neck Through construction

Switchable Bright LED's
(red at 1,3,5,7,9,15,17,19,21, single white at 12 and 24)

It is set up for strap locks (set of strap locks for free if purchased).

Standard warwick scale (34")

This bass has mwwahhh for miles. It also has a tremendous amount of available bass via the lows knob. The high band knob of the EQ essentially dials in or out the sound of the fingerboard, so you have great control over how much of the wood sound comes through the pickups. You can make it sound very woody or very low end and rubbery depending on how you set the knobs.

It is not in completely immaculate condition but it is in the exact same condition I bought it in. There are a couple cosmetic things I tried my best to document below.

$1600 OBO for the FS price.

For trades I am looking for a fretted 5 string bass of equal or slightly lesser (within $150) quality and value. My priority would be a Warwick Stage I or II streamer, but I will consider any and all high end 5 string basses. I am located in Boston, so if you are in the area and would like to play the bass, that can be arranged.

Thanks for looking

If you need, I will throw in a generic hard case with the sale...I believe it's a road runner.

Really would love a nice 5 string for this thing, neck through would be excellent...The clear top choice for me is a stage 1 streamer 5, possibly with some cash from one side depending. Definitely not ruling out any similar quality range 5 string basses, of any style construction for the trade.

Thanks for looking!

Just a little marketing feedback, OrangeSun.....looks like a beauty of a bass but you can't tell from those photos.

Now that you mention it, yea...I'm going to have to borrow my friends good camera to take some better pictures. Hopefully I can get over there tonight with the bass and my computer. The finish on the bass is kind of dark so the camera on my cellphone isn't quite cutting it.
