this bass is in great condition - I can't find a significant scratch or nick on it. will ship in a very hardy silver Washburn hardshell case that's a tad large, which I simply snug with a rolled up hand towel. the original tag and can of wax will be included. the frets could use a good cleaning so I'll give it an overall 9.25/10. the tag indicates a "born on" date of 4/05 and I've been the second owner for nearly 5 years, have never gigged it, and have probably put less than 40 hours play time on it.
$1500 outright sale (plus actual shipping from 87501 and insurance charges via your choice of shipper) preferred, partial trades considered with cash my way or yours, accordingly:
GK MBE 210 or a Rob Allen fretted 5 or Benavente chambered 5 or similar. a Parker Fly 5 or Mac or some primo computer based music creation software would be considered as well.
all relevant specs are available at the Warwick website, this one has (obviously) the zebrano body with the ovangkol neck and wenge fingerboard.
this is a very sweet bass in almost every way that I've agonized over keeping but I just can't get used to the super chunky neck so it's time to let her go.
many more higher res pics available via email
I'd offer a slight price break for a local pickup or delivery (Santa Fe / Taos) just to avoid shipping hassles. other price breaks considered if you wanted to add my Thunderfunk 550B and/or Schroeder 1210L w/ 3 rackspace airhead to the deal. (see other ad)

| | turn me loose tonight...'cause I'm radioactive | | Join Date: Dec 2004 Location: Santa Fe | | | for simplicity sake: let's just call it a flat extra $65 to ship it CONUS. that seems to be about the going rate, eh? I'll eat the additional cost to have it professionally packed, since that seems to be a worthy investment in reducing potential hassles...

Let me raise 1500 and I'll grab this from you... but first I gotta sell some stuff.
Best,
Dave

I am certain this helps to create an unmistakable tonal picture.
I never have gotten comfortable with the chunky neck - if not for being a tone monster this bass and I would have parted ways years ago.

If someone pm's you an offer and you accept it, and they don't respond within 3 days, do you get to slam their testicles between two dictionaries 3 times or 5?
Thanks for your input.

Thanks for your input. | That's somewhat harsh.
Here's a bump for you. My local music store had one of these for a while and I enjoyed playing it EVERY time I was there!

| | turn me loose tonight...'cause I'm radioactive | | Join Date: Dec 2004 Location: Santa Fe | | | well.... upon further reflection I must concur, mbp ~ 3 should be the absolute max dependent upon the intensity of prior slams and howls. a gentle slam might simply serve as a welcome eye opener for some, whereas a .... oh, never mind...
