Warwick Masterman 5
Well, I am thinking it might be time to pass on my Masterman 5-string. It has an absolutely beautiful birdseye maple body and is in fantastic shape. This bass has been my main player while at my house, but I have always had other fretted Warwicks that I have taken to gig out. This bass has been babied big time. Now I have a Thumb 5, a Corvette fretless 5, and this one. I have started thinking about trying some other sounds. Since I need to keep one fretted Warwick that I am willing to take out and gig (I baby this more than the Thumb 5), so this bass has to be the one. I have thought about it for a while and I will be very sad to see it go.
It is a 1997 Fortress Masterman 5 / wenge. Bass is in great shape. A couple of light scratches around one knob, but thats it. I will add a picture later, but they are very hard to see. The only issue I have ever had with it was the input jack had some issues a few years back and it was replaced. I doubt there is a nicer Warwick Masterman 5 out there.
