FS/FT: Warwick Streamer Stage 2-5

Sign in to disble this ad
Classy look, well-balanced body-to-neck, great playability, solid B-string, and deep, warm tones - with a nice top end snap!

Afzelia body with 7-piece ovankol/zebrawood neck.
24-fret Wenge board with Yin/Yang inlays.
Basslines pickups and 3-band, 9-volt preamp.
Warwick straplocks.
All accessories included in the well-padded Warwick gig bag: Truss rod tool, Allen wrenches, and Warwick body wax.

Interested in a trade for a bolt-on 5 of similar value with alder, mahogany, or multi-laminate body, and rosewood or morado fretboard.
Not interested in an ash body/maple fretboard type of bass.

$1750

Let me know what you have!

No Fretless, Please...

I have a monster fretless: Roscoe SKB-3006 w/ash body, 4A quilted maple top, Demeter preamp, Diamondwood board.
Tone and playability for days!!

So, no thanks on any fretless offers.

Like most Warwicks, the neck is a little thick, but to me the Streamers are a lot flatter than say Corvettes, Thumbs, or Fortresses.

The string spacing is a bit tight at 17 mm. For my big hands and long fingers it is comfortable for fingerstyle especially. Slapping is good if I keep a disciplined right-hand technique - and the woody "snap" sounds great!

Weight is about 10 lbs. I have played all the Warwick models, and I think the Streamers have the most balanced, comfortable design for playing in sitting and standing position.
