I am not sure about this, but I figured I would give this a try...
So up for sale is my Washburn Status Series 1000. Essentially, it is a Status bass essentially assembled in USA by Washburn. Not much is really know about these basses worldwide, but what information I have discovered is that it is getting kinda rare, and that those that own them, love them. I know I do. The bass is great, but I am looking for something else in terms of recording gear, and need to get rid of this to get the next piece.
Comes with gig bag, can use either double ball or regular single ball strings, and is the only bass I have ever played that totally and completely stays in tune, all the time.
On to the pics.
There is a small blemish on the lower horn you can see when wearing it. It is a chip, but it is not bad. All knobs are tight, volume clicks like it should in the detents, pickups are beautiful sounding, and the output jack is solid. Uses one 9 volt battery, and has tons of headroom for a 9 volt preamp.
Super clean sounding, one of the best recorded tones I have heard dry.
I am asking $600 shipped OBO, or looking for a newer Fender Jazz bass, active in black, red, blue, silver or white. I am not looking for burst colors, but might take one if the deal is right. Again, Active jazzes only, unless a stellar deal on a passive one is present. Shipping costs are included in the price.
Trades:
-Jazz bass (prefer active solids, but will change on the deal)
-Bass Whammy
-$600 OBO including shipping
I prefer the trades, but if you want to buy and have the cash, lets do it.
