FS: G&L ASAT Semi-Hollow Fretless

Up for sale is a beautiful 2010 G&L ASAT Fretless Bass. This is a semi-hollow body model and features a stunning Swamp Ash top and body.

The neck is a #8, which is like a Jazz bass. 1-1/2" width at the nut. It sports a beautiful unlined Ebony fretboard. This was a special order bass, originally bought by a fellow TB'r.

The bass is in incredible condition, hard any wear marks on the fretboard. It is completely stock except for the strap locks I put on which I will include with the bass.

It also comes with a G&L case, made by G&G which is also in great condition.

Here are the specs from the G&L website
  • PICKUPS: 2 G&L Magnetic Field humbucking pickups
  • BODY WOOD: Swamp Ash with twin Voice Chambers and "f" hole
  • NECK WOOD: Hard Rock Maple with Ebony un-lined fingerboard
  • NECK RADIUS: 12"
  • NECK WIDTH AT NUT: 1 1/2"
  • TUNING KEYS: Custom G&L "Ultra-Lite" with aluminum tapered string posts
  • BRIDGE: G&L Saddle Lock with chrome-plated brass saddles
  • CONTROLS: G&L Tri-Tone active/passive electronics, 3-way mini-toggle pickup selector, series/parallel mini-toggle, preamp control mini-toggle (off / on / on with high end EQ boost)
  • WEIGHT (Per my bathroom scale): 9 lbs.

On to the photos:

Here is (not the greatest) video clip of me playing it:

Not bad. I used a Neotech strap and it stayed right in place. There is two strap buttons on the tail end of the bass, I found using the lower one helps keep it in place.

I'll have to confirm it when I get home, but I think it is around the 9 lbs mark.
