FS: G&L BABP L1000 Bass

Folks,

Once again I find I have to downsize. This is a beautiful bass, but I'm playing my L2K's more than this.

I bought this from CraigB, it's one of the limited run G&L L-1000 (I believe it's a 2009). There were only approximately 24 or so of these made and G&L has said there will be no more L-1000's.

This one is tobacco burst finish, weighs 8.7 pounds, rosewood board with a #8 neck (1.5" nut). Made in the U.S. Comes with original G&L case & all paperwork, case has a little dent in one corner. In fantastic shape, no dings or dents.

Currently sporting TI flats, amazing sound!!

Asking $1000 shipped.

This bass is killin' me! Part of me wants it to be lightweight and part of me wants it to weigh 15 lbs. What is the weight GaryLC?

Oops, missed the weight in the OP. Gonna have to give this one serious thought...

This is a sweet bass (to be honest all the BABP LEs I've had, L1K and L2K, were superb instruments - some of the best G&L's I've had the pleasure of playing). Granted I ended up with "just" a current edition ordered new L2K, but it's as sweet as the BABP LEs (albeit in a non-limited edition form).

I don't suppose you want trade straight up for a Godin Shifter (fretless, all I really need is a fretless - gotta keep reminding myself)
