It is with a heavy heart that I list this bass for sale...
I am the original owner. I bought the bass new in June of 2010, so it's not even a year old. The bass plays and sounds wonderful. I have owned around 10 Fender basses 7 of which have been USA made basses including 90s models, 2000 models, and the 2008 models that Fender made so well. NONE of them can touch this bass. The bass is very resonate and sounds wonderful.
So why am I selling this bass? I started playing bass on a 5 string bass. I am also a large fellow and a 5 string just feels like home. I love the wide neck and the bigger bodies usually associated with 5 strings. I also play in church and the low B is sometimes needed for certain songs, so I'll be going back with a 5 string from now on.
The bass sounds great, it sounds just like a Jazz bass should sound. The bridge intonates well and it locks so if you stick with the same strings, you'll never have to intonate it again.
The neck is great. I'm not sure what G&L neck it is but it's the perfect width and thickness. I'm not 100% positive, but I think it's the number 8 neck.
There is NO ugly routing underneath the pickguard, so if you like the Jaco look, you can go for it!
As far as condition goes, the bass has only been played at my local church and only has slight players wear. No dings, dents, or scratches that I could find.

Here are some pictures from when I bought it. I will also upload some pics later today of its current condition, which is great.
Bass comes with a black G&G OHSC that is in great shape!
New these sell for around 1500 dollars.
