FS: G&L L-2000 USA (gandl), OHSC

OK, I'm probably gonna regret doing this but....

For sale is my 2008 (I think...serial number = CLF 22584), USA G&L L-2000 (gandl, el tookay for you search engine types :) )

The bass has the series/single coil/parallel mod shown here:

http://www.bassesbyleo.com/images/g&...ies_modern.jpg

That is, for each PUP you can individually select S/SC/P. The 3 way PUP selector also allows you to run the neck PUP solo, bridge PUP solo, or neck and bridge combined. That's a heck of a lot of useful combinations/tones.

I will include the preamp circuit board if you wish to make it active again.

Nut width is 1.5 inches and she weighs a hair over 9 lbs.

The ONLY reason I'm letting this go is because I just purchased a 2 band Stingray SLO Special and I just can't justify having so many basses these days.

$700 shipped. No trades please.

Check out the pics and PM me if interested, or if I can answer any questions. Thanks!

T-Mac 01-09-2013 06:08 PM

Willie, yes, it is only PASSIVE now.

Pots are:

Master volume/passive treble/passive bass

PMs returned.....

Bump. This mod somewhat resembles the Fender Roscoe Beck axes, although there you can mix/match series/single/parallel among the pickups.

Anyhow, I know someone who has a similar mod, and swears by it.
