I am selling my 1981-82 USA G&L L-2000 series E (serial number is B003xxx) in natural color with polished on top, weights around 10 lbs. This bass is rare and hard to find and it sounds much, much better than the new USA G&L L-2000 that I used to own. The bass has maple neck with polished gloss finish over gun-oil tint (beautiful), maple fret board. It is an active/passive bass with 9 volt battery. I bought it from the original owner (a friend in my church and he bought it new has not been using it much). No wear on the fret board and the frets looks almost like mint. Consider the bass is 28 years old and it is in excellent shape. I am selling it because I switch to 5-string bass. The condition is excellent, no dents or dings, there are few very light scratches on the front and back. The neck is straight. It sounds great. I own many basses and this one beats all of them. Comes with a G&L hard case, the case has one foot broken, but still works great as all the locks are perfect. $1095 shipped with insurance within the USA. I accept paypal. Please PM me if interest.
