FS G&L L2000 Bass

**** SOLD ****

Made in America, honest to goodness G&L L2000 Bass -
Swamp Ash body
Maple fretboard
Width at nut: 1 3/4"
3-Tone Sunburst finish
Serial #B031778

Bought this one new around '98 from Musician's Friend. It is difficult to part as it is my first really nice bass. We've eaten a lot of dirt together

As you can see, it has been well taken care of. Went in for cleaning and set-up at Mike Lull just this past Spring.

There are one or two small white marks (checks?) in the finish on the lower horn.

Everything works just as it should, and it plays beautifully. My tastes have changed. I need to sell this to appease the war dept. and to backfill for a new Stingray HH.

Hardshell case (not original) is included. Asking 700 + Shipping.

Beautiful bass man....won't last long around here. Not too many US L2000's pop up lately.

The stats for these three questions should be required when posting any G&L.
1) nut width or neck number
2) weight of the bass
3) is the neck straight and does the truss rod work easily in both directions

??????????????????????

Edited to add the width at the nut. I don't know the neck #. I did not request a specific neck when ordering, but knew it would be a wider P-like neck.

I don't have a way to weigh it accurately. It is heavier than my P, but it is also way better balanced when strapped on. Bathroom scale says there's about a 3/4 lb difference.

Mike Lull didn't comment on the neck or the truss rod when I brought it in. The neck looks straight when I hold it long-ways.

BTW, here's my EBay seller profile, seeing as I don't have a rep built up here:
