I just got this in a trade with 4Mal and I like it a lot. However I just have too many basses and have to start letting go of some of my toys.
The bass is in perfect shape (really!) and plays and sounds great. It's much nicer than I expected and it really rivals the US made models IMO. Absolutely no issues. Currently strung E to C. Here's what 4Mal had to say about it in his original post: Strung E through C with Thomastic Super Alloy's. An additional .030 C included so you can re-string with the purchase of a 4 string set. If you string B to G you will probably have to widen the slot's in the nut.
Currently installed Audere 3ZB configured as Vol, Mid stacked on Blend, Treble stacked on Bass. The switches are
z-mode (lo-neutral-hi)
Series/Single/Parallel coils for neck p/u
Series/Single/Parallel coils for bridge p/u
This bass will produce an enormous number of tones configured this way.
The only new hole is on the lower edge and that is for the battery life LED indicator. Otherwise the bass is pretty much stock in appearance.
Ash body, Rosewood neck with a fantasic setup. Small Tribute Logo. SOLD!
This is an awesome bass for a very low price folks! You won't be disappointed!

Built great, played great, nice pickups, but the pre and the switching options were just blah. I'm sure this thing rules. |

Got the weight on this guy?

Got the weight on this guy? | Thanks for pointing that out. I just amended the original post.

If I didn't already have the look and tone of this bass covered, I would be all over this thing -- I'll bet it delivers some MONSTROUS tonal options.
Good luck moving this one!
